Sandy Island South Mini Lav Replacement

The Mini Lav located near the Chapel has set a high standard for cleanliness, thoughtful design, and overall functionality on Sandy Island. Building on that success, we are planning to replace the Mini Lav at the south corner near The New Yorker Cabin with a similar, updated model. 

Scheduled for fall 2026, this project will bring a consistent, high-quality experience to another key area of camp. The new Mini Lav will reflect the same best-in-class design—prioritizing cleanliness, durability, accessibility, and ease of maintenance. 

Upgrading this facility will improve comfort and convenience for campers and staff in this part of the island, while also ensuring that our infrastructure keeps pace with the needs of our growing community which is why donations to this project are so mission critical. 

This replacement is part of our broader commitment to maintaining safe, modern, and well-designed spaces across Sandy Island.
