Available just one week of the summer season, Family Camp at North Woods and Pleasant Valley offers an opportunity to leave all the stresses of the real world behind and enjoy the company of other families in a beautiful woodland setting. Accommodations are rustic, electricity-free wooden cabins nestled among the tall pines along the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee.
Family Camp
Join us for a week of making memories and building lifelong friendships with our wonderful camp staff, other families from around New England, and special guests from Roxbury Tenants of Harvard and Friends and Mentors. We provide families of all backgrounds the opportunity to learn, share, and grow in a supportive, safe, and fun environment. The program is designed to encourage families to become involved, appreciate the value of good sportsmanship, respect individual differences, learn new skills, and explore nature.
Meals
At Family Camp we provide three nutritious meals daily, served family style in our Great Hall. Every meal includes a vegetarian option, an extensive salad bar, and a sun butter & jelly sandwich option. Mom & Dad can relax while the kids clear the table! Please let us know if you have any allergies or dietary needs we should know about.
