The Lodge Bathroom at Sandy Island has not undergone a major renovation in over 40 years. This project is an opportunity to thoughtfully modernize the space and better meet the needs of today’s campers and staff.
The renovation will include an expanded footprint by incorporating a portion of the current linen storage room on the south side of the lodge. This added space will allow for the installation of an additional ADA-compliant stall, improving accessibility and ensuring a more inclusive experience for all.
To enhance functionality and reduce wait times during busy periods, sinks will be relocated outside of the toilet stalls. This design will allow multiple campers to use the space at the same time more efficiently.
All surfaces and fixtures will be fully updated with a focus on durability, cleanliness, and ease of maintenance. The result will be a refreshed, high-quality facility that better supports daily camp life while maintaining a welcoming and comfortable environment.
With your support, this renovation reflects our commitment to providing safe, accessible, and thoughtfully designed spaces that serve our community for years to come.
Fundraising Goal: $70,000
